safety policy
At Gagnon Line Construction, the health and safety of every employee is a high priority and must be a part of every operation. It is every employee’s responsibility at all levels. We will maintain a health and safety program conforming to the best practices of organizations of this type.
Key Policy Highlights:
- References and regulations from this safety program will meet or exceed both Canada Labor Code (CLC) and United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) legislation.
- All Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and materials identified in this program will meet or exceed Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) guidelines.
To be successful, such a program must embody the proper attitudes toward injury and illness prevention on the part of supervisors and employees. It also requires cooperation in all health and safety matters. Only through such a cooperative effort can an effective health and safety program be established and preserved.
Management Commitment:
Management accepts responsibility for providing a safe working environment, and employees are expected to take responsibility for performing work in accordance with safe standards and practices. Everyone must join together in prioritizing health and safety, taking every reasonable measure to ensure safe working conditions in the company.
